Enriching experiences beyond EYFS

In addition to our core offer, we provide a range of extra-curricular experiences that enrich children’s learning and wellbeing. These activities are delivered by practitioners and specialists who have additional training and expertise, and are designed to complement, not replace, our EYFS curriculum.

These programmes are integrated throughout the nursery across the week:
 

Meals

We believe mealtimes are moments of care, comfort and connection. Children enjoy freshly prepared meals and snacks each day, designed to support healthy development and introduce a variety of tastes and textures. Families enrolled in our full integrated offer, benefit from continuity across the week, including access to our nutritious food provision. Monthly fees include an inclusive additional charge that supports the quality and consistency of this service.
 

Health & Hygiene Essentials

To ensure every child is cared for with dignity and comfort, we provide a range of health and hygiene essentials throughout the day - including nappies, wipes, sun cream, and wet bags. These items are part of our commitment to high-quality care. Families accessing our integrated offer receive continuity across the week, and monthly fees include an inclusive additional charge to support this provision.
 

Extra-curricular activities

Our nursery offers a vibrant programme of extra-curricular experiences that go beyond the Early Years Foundation Stage. These include forest school sessions (Woodlanders), creative movement and baby massage (Our Creative Adventure), and seasonal family events. Delivered by additional trained practitioners and artists, these activities enrich children’s learning and wellbeing. They are woven into the weekly rhythm, and monthly fees include an inclusive additional charge to sustain their quality and accessibility.
 

Optional charges and transparency

We are committed to transparency and fairness. In line with government guidance:

• All extra-curricular activities and consumables are optional and not a condition of accessing funded hours.
• Invoices are itemised to show clearly what is covered by funding and what is charged additionally.
• No hidden fees - we will always explain any optional charges in advance.
